  • Food will always be here for the feral cats, so as soon as I see a plate "licked clean" I will know Thor is back.  He can count on us to check on his welfare.  If he gets lost again, he knows he can come here for food and rescue.  If this happens again, "rescue" will not have the same definition it did this morning.  There are laws against leaving dogs "loose." I don't know how this poor dog stayed alive all this time, but I'm glad he did.  Thor has one of the nicest dispositions I have ever encountered.  Thor is a "giant" sweetheart

  • How could this family not even be looking for their beloved dog?  I have a bad feeling about them keeping him safe.

Great job getting him home, though.  I'm so glad he DOES have a name!

Description:

The "Dog Without a Name" went into the trap at 12:30 this morning.  He is a wonderful dog.  Very skittish, but just as sweet as could be.  His tags showed that his name is "Thor" but he doesn't respond to his name.  He belongs to a family in a neighboring town. We returned him to his family this morning, but he didn't seem to recognize them.  Sadly, they were not looking for him.  I will keep an eye on him to make sure he is properly taken care of and kept indoors.  Thank you everyone for your help and prayers.  Without Sandy and Jim, I would never have caught this poor dog.  He has a full belly now and is safely inside a warm house.  Hopefully, things will stay that way.  I will continue to check on him; I won't let him down.
